What I’m Buying Again for Baby #3
There is something very different about putting together a baby registry when you’re expecting your third baby. With my first, I remember feeling like I needed everything. I had no idea what we would actually use, so I registered for all of the things that seemed like they belonged on a baby registry. After two babies, I have a much better idea of what we actually used, what we loved, and what we could have easily lived without.
So for baby #3, I’m keeping things pretty simple. We already have most of the big baby gear, but there are quite a few things that we used over and over again that I’m happily buying again.
I decided to make a registry for baby #3, so I could personally take advantage of the completion discount to secure all my must-haves. So here are the things making their way onto our baby #3 registry!

BABY ESSENTIALS
Dapple Baby Fragrance-Free Bottle & Dish Soap- One of those very unexciting baby products that we went through constantly. We used it for bottles, pump parts and all of the random baby things that need to be washed, so I’m stocking up again.
Tubby Todd Sweet Cheeks Diaper Paste- A repeat purchase because I’m not interested in experimenting with diaper rash products on a newborn. This was a staple for us with our other babies. I also love their AAO, lotion, and baby wash.
Muslin Baby Towels and Muslin Burp Clothes- Simple and that we used constantly. Adding these back to the baby stash for #3.
Aquaphor Advanced Therapy Healing Ointment- Aquaphor is basically a household staple for us. Baby skin, dry skin, diaper-area needs and all of the random little things that come up with kids—we always find a use for it.
Miss Mouth’s Messy Eater Stain Treater- Because babies may be tiny, but somehow they create an impressive amount of laundry. 😂 This is staying stocked for baby #3.
Philips Avent Soothie Pacifiers- These were our go-to newborn pacifiers, so I’m sticking with them for baby #3.
Baby Memory Book-I kept up with baby books with my first two, and I want to do the same with baby #3. I love having one place for all of those little details that are so easy to forget but become so special later.
Ubbi Stainless Steel Diaper Pail- This will be a third time purchase for us. Sleek design for a garbage can and keeps odor out.
BREASTFEEDING + FEEDING
This is probably the category where having two babies already makes the biggest difference. I’ve exclusively breastfed both of our babies for a year each, so I have a pretty good idea of what I actually want nearby this time.
My Brest Friend Nursing Pillow- One of my breastfeeding must-haves. Having a supportive nursing pillow makes those early days of basically feeding around the clock so much more comfortable.
Haakaa Manual Breast Pump- This was a staple for me while breastfeeding. It’s simple, easy to use and especially handy for catching milk on the opposite side while nursing.
Elvie Catch Milk Collection Shells- I loved having these during those early breastfeeding days. They’re much less cumbersome than constantly dealing with nursing pads and were especially helpful when I was producing a lot of milk.
Lansinoh Lanolin Nipple Cream- Not glamorous, but absolutely necessary. If you’ve breastfed before, you know.
Lifefactory Silicone Nipples- Adding replacement nipples for our favorite glass bottles.
Spectra Pump Replacement Parts-After breastfeeding two babies, I know how quickly pump parts get used and worn out. I’m starting fresh with replacement parts instead of waiting until I need them.
POSTPARTUM FAVORITES
I’ve done the postpartum thing twice now, so I know exactly what I want waiting for me when we get home.
Frida Mom Labor & Delivery Gown- It’s comfortable, easy and makes me feel a little more put together while still being practical for labor and delivery.
Frida Mom Perineal Cooling Pads- These were a postpartum essential for me.
Frida Mom Postpartum Underwear- Again… not glamorous, but very necessary. Disposable postpartum underwear makes those first few days so much easier.
Frida Mom Witch Hazel Perineal Healing Foam- Another postpartum staple I’m making sure I have ready before baby arrives. I learned very quickly that the first week postpartum is not the time to realize you’re missing something.
BABY HEALTH + SLEEP
Baby Brezza Bottle Washer Pro- This is one of the bigger purchases on my list, but after washing bottles and pump parts with two babies, I’m very excited about having this. Anything that saves me from standing at the sink washing tiny parts over and over again gets a yes from me.
Eufy Baby Monitor- We’re using the Eufy monitor system again for baby #3.
Baby Monitor Mount- Because apparently baby monitors require an entire ecosystem of accessories. These make it easy to get the cameras exactly where I want them.
Hatch Go Portable Sound Machine- A portable sound machine is one of those things I didn’t fully appreciate until we had kids who needed sleep. I love having one we can take for naps, travel and moving around the house.
FINAL THOUGHTS
The biggest difference between this registry and my first baby registry is that there is very little guesswork. I’ve already learned which products we used constantly, which ones sat untouched, and which things genuinely made life easier.
Baby #3 doesn’t need a million new things. We already have so much of the big stuff, and honestly, one of my favorite parts of preparing this time around is getting to pull out all of the baby things we’ve saved from the other two kids.
But there are some things that get used, worn out, lost or simply deserve a fresh version for a new baby—and those are the things I’m stocking up on now. After two babies, these are the things I’m confident enough in to buy again without thinking twice.
If you’re preparing for a baby of your own, hopefully this list gives you a few ideas for your registry—or at least helps you figure out which baby products are actually worth buying!
